Control Group split up in the middle of 1983... Cool Hungarian new wave/underground band formed in 1980. They made some rehearshalroom tapes and one high quality demo in early 1983, but unfortunately, they couldn't released LP during the 80s. After the system-changes, the underground record company, Bahia released some Control Group recordings.

This recording is their last concert with their 1982-1983 songs in a good quality! Enjoy!

A Cég ( The Firm ) was a Hungarian underground/new wave band in the mid 80s. I don't know more infos about this band, just one : the bandmembers had two idols : Sex Pistols and Rolling Stones.

KFT-Macska az úton LP 1982

Here is the first KFT LP, Macska Az Úton (Cat on the street) from 1982. I wrote some months ago about this LP: "Early KFT was a very good new wave band, their first 2 LPs are absolutely good new wave stuffs. KFT founded in 1981, and the band played on "TOP SONG FESTIVAL 1981" with the song : "BÁBU VAGY" called in English: "You are the puppet". This song became a very popular new wave song in Hungary in early 80s. In 1981-1982 the band used make up, therefore they looked like a crazy punkband.

Lot of Hungarian new wave band didn't released any recording during the 80s, but the KFT is yes! Their first LP called "Macska Az Úton" ( Cat on the street), became a very unusual Lp in early 80s Hungary. When lot of Hungarian rock bands singing about teenage life-feelings e.g. "I was your kid" or "I leave the town", the KFT have puritan, simple topics and lyrics like "Tea", "House plant", "Greetings from Budapest". "

Really cool new wave LP, i just recommend to you!

Trabant-Eszkimó asszony fázik 1984 RE-UPLOAD

Trabant was a interesting new wave band in Hungary in the early 80s. They never played in concert, instead of they just made a demo recordings. The band released only EP, Eszkimó asszony fázik(meaning Eskimo woman feel cold) in 1984. This EP was a soundtrack EP, and the name of the movie agree with EP name. Eskimo woman feel cold was a great film, the Trabant bandmembers are performed in this movie. This film speak about 2 men and 1 beautiful sexy woman(she was the Trabant singer). One of us man is dumb and the second man is a succesfull piano artist. Both of men fall in love with the sexy blondie woman, and the woman love both of men... It's a difficult story, with Trabant music... In this movie, we can watch a bit sex, we can watch difficult circumstances of life and we can listen new wave musics... It's a great film!

BB GABOR-s/t LP 1980

BB Gabor was a Hungarian- born Canadian singer. He born in 1948 and fled to Hungary with his parents after 4th November 1956 soviet invasion. He recorded two LP in Canada, here is the first. Soviet Jewellery and Metropolitan Life were the mega-hit songs from his 1st LP in Canada in early 80s. He died in 1990, his death was ruled suicide. Very rare, but very good! Totally new wave-pop LP. Enjoy!

Here's the new post! This first EK LP is one of my favorite end 80s Hungarian LP (next to the first Sexepil LP). This LP called Popzene (Popmusic): strange LP name, but it wasn't a pop shit. Depeche Mode-First concert in Hungary, Budapest 23.07.1985. (rare bootleg)

I'm not a big Depeche Mode fan, but i don't want to lie, their early LPs are very good new wave stuffs!

English synthpop band came to Hungary first in summer 1985. It was the Some Great Reward world tour. They didn't want to came to Budapest, they want to go to East-Berlin, but the eastgermans didn't allowed their concert in GDR.

At this time, their were no a big and fanatic Hungarian fans, therefore the bandmembers were a a very immediate with Hungarian youths.

Depeche Mode played in "Volán-pálya", they spent one day in Budapest, and they lived in Hotel Hyatt. After 1985, Depeche Mode came again to Budapest just in 1988.

This rare bootleg is good, the tones is good quality! Enjoy!

In 1983, the band released their second LP called "Üzenet a Liftből/Fodrász" (Message from the lift/ The barber).

Maybe this LP became better than the first! More new wave synthpop stuffs, and more post-punk tones! Songs like "Fodrász" similar to Neue Deutsche Welle style with cool synth effects.

Song "Üzenet a liftből" like a cool The Police influenced "white reggae" with a good guitar solo. Song "Valami mocorog " also similar to one of Police song from Regatta De Blanc.

But You can listen some post-punk songs too like : "Milyen kegyetlen a szerelem" and "Állatkert".

This record stay fresh todays too, if you listen this LP, you don't feel old 80s feelings.

They was very commercial and very mainstream, but their first LP was a cool commerical Hungarian new wave/pop stuff.

Első Emelet (meaning: First Floor) started in 1982 with another music and members. The band was a very popular Hungarian band between 1984-1990. In early period they played punk influenced music but after one year they changed and they started a pop/synth/new wave influenced music. In 1983 they released first 7" (called: "Noteszember/Amerika"-

Paperboy/America) with another singer. In 1983, they changed the singer and they released their first LP in 1984.

What my opinion about the LP?

This LP still cool and funny, there are 12 synthpop and Kajagoogoo and Duran Duran influenced songs with funny and idiot lyrics. The image of the band was totally gay, like the Kajagoogoo...

After the first LP they became a more popular and more commercial, and their lyrics became more idiot... I don't like their late period, but this LP is cool!
The lot of songs speak about a typical teenage things or desires, and some songs just funnies.

E.g. lyrics of song "Amerika":

Where you can get everything
This is the place where you can buy the happiness for dollars!

Chorus: The commercial is shout me:

"YOU CAN GET IT!"

I don't know where made this bootleg... maybe in Balatonfüred in 1983.

Maybe it was the one of the last concerts of the band, because the band split up in 1984.

Punk concert in Youth Park, Budapest 1984

In summer 1984 five punkband Aurora (still with female singer), Marina Revue, Tizedes meg a Többiek, Rizikó Faktor and Galopping Coroners played in Budapest Youth Park. Should have played Kretens ,but they were delay 2 hours, therefore they didn't perform. Funny isn't it? So, here's the bootleg of this concert unfortunately without Rizikó Faktor and Galopping Coroners tracks. Formerly i had these tracks, but unfortunately i lose it. WYX-Lie, Lie, Lie/Association SP 1983

WYX- this band is a not a true punkband, it was a short-lived music project of the KFT singer András Laár.

They released this interesting 7" in 1983. This single there are 2 songs. First song, "Lie,Lie,Lie" is a fast and angry punk influenced song, and the second song, "Association" is a very post-punk influenced song. You can listen another WYX song on the rare "START 1.2..3..." sampler. Very cool and very rare record! Enjoy!

Inkubátor(meaning:Inqubator) was a punkband between 1981-1982. Sorry for bad picture but i didn't find any picture about this band(i made with my mobilephone...). This tape is a bad quality live recording, maybe from early 1982... Typical look intellectual but angry lyrics.

And it's very interesting, because they played a popular Lavina song, Elizium.

GM49-English demotape 1984 (?)

You can find another GM49 tape on my blog. Now, i uploaded their rare English demo. I don't know a lot about this demotape, made in maybe 1983 or 1984. I know, the singer, Galla, went to London in end of 1982 or in early 1983 and he fallen love in synthpop music style. Synthpop was a popular style in the UK in early 80s, i'm sure you heard about famous 80s English synth bands, e.g. Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, O.M.D., ecc.

Quality is excellent, this demo there are 9 songs (8 English songs and 1 Hungarian song), but all songs are very shits. Synthpop? Maybe... I don't believe this demo would be a successful in the UK. But you can.

Fals! - demotape 1989

Fals! - one of the Hungarian ska band from end of the 80s. I don't know a lot of information about this band, started ca. 1984 and split up in end of 1989 (?) - i don't know exactly.

The early 80s Hungarian ska bands like GM49 , and Fórum were a very new wave influenced band with a very silly lyrics. They released some 7"s and split up fast.

Mid 80s Hungarian ska bands like Skanzelizé , Flúgos Futam, Fals! were a bit skinhead influenced lyrics with lot of provocative topics (e. g. Ceausescu's Romania; Arabian immigrants in Budapest;Transylvania; ecc.).

What my opinion about Fals! demo? It's a very good quality demotape with interesting and good lyrics (e.g. "Budapest is change and will be like Cairo" ), and this demo is a one of the mark to the end of 80s Hungary!

Nihil-demo 198x or 1990 (?)

I know two Nihil (Nihilism) band. The first Nihil started in 1982, and it was a simple punk/new wave band to former Lavina's singer, Attila Nagy. But unfortunately, i have no any recording from this band.

But these two band are not same.

But the second Nihil was a one of the first Hungarian dark-wave band next to early F.O. System. Formed late 80s, and broke up early 90s. Here's their first demo. Great stuff with great lyrics and a bit punk influenced music.

Koordináció B - demo 1984

Koordináció B (B Coordination) was a one of the cool Hungarian punkband from the former big industrial city, Miskolc. The band formed in 1982, but their first name was Ideges Dögevők (meaning in English: Nervous carrion eaters ), but this formation was spit up in 1983. The new formation changed the band name to Koordináció B.

This demo made in 1984, very good quality, there are 10 excellent punk songs with good lyrics and primitive, but effective and aggressive music. Their lyrics there are : vision of nuclear war, depression, empty life, word-pain...ecc. So, it's a one of the Hungarian punk stuff!

Torma - funny and forgotten synth from early 80s

Torma (meaning in English maybe: Horse-radish) was not punk, it was a funny one-man Hungarian new wave/synth stuff in early 80s. But Torma is a very forgotten band in Hungary, Torma didn't released albums or singles, but in 1983 the band appeared in "official" new wave sampler (the name of the sampler: 1.2..3... Start Új Hullám) with only Torma's "hit" song: "Dalolj!" (in English: "Sing!") and later, the band split up. But the band started again in early 90s and released 2 albums , made some concerts and split up again. Here's their first album from 1992 with original 80s Torma's songs! Good quality, early 80s Trio influenced music with funny and very very simple lyrics.

Modells - one of my favorite Hungarian punkband, and (i think) they were the one of the best Hungarian punkband in early 80s. They formed in 1981 and split up in 1982. Exacting music with good lyrics.

Here's their rare rehearsalroom recordings from 1982. Not so good quality, and i think, not so exciting demo, because they played same songs, but you can listen some unknown Modells songs and Sex Pistols and Buzzcocks cover songs.

QSS-rehearsalroomtape 1983

It's a very rare recording from QSS. The band formed in 1981 with another singer, György Papp. Till now i never listened any recording from this earliest line-up. But now! Here is it! One of cool guy sent me this early QSS rehearsalroomtape! First time, we didn't know what is this, we thought that, it's a early Neurotic demo, but no, we mistaken.

This demo is absolutely fantastic punk stuff from 1983, fast punk with aggressive music and good lyrics! Quality is not so good, but who cares? If you listen this great rehearsalroomtape, you can think that you are in 1983 not in 2010... ! Some songs from this demo appeared in Lucile Chaufour's movie, "Les rales des genets".

Rolls/Backing Group Live 10.10.1981

Here's the early live bootleg from Rolls Frakció and Backing Group. You can listen punk influence Backing Group's music and early Rolls. You know, i already told you, early Rolls recording are not so good. Yes, it's true. In this bootleg next to their punk/new wave songs, Rolls played some blues(!) songs with one of famous Hungarian rock/blues singer, Deák-Bill, and Ramones mixture with Backing Group singer and they played their shit early rock songs in end of the concert.

US DALLARD-rehearsalroomtape 1986

US DALLARD (sometimes U.S. DALLARD) was a punk/new wave band from Budapest between 1984-1986. Their music was exacting and they played Stranglers influenced music (the band often played some Stranglers songs too, e.g. Hanging Around, English Towns, 5 minutes). They also appeared in Total 85 punkfestival, in Paks. I don't know anymore about this band.

Here's their only demotape from 1986 without tracklist and average lyrics. Quality is not too good, you can listen US DALLARD's Hanging Around in last song of demotape!

CERBERUS - interview in Youth Magazine 1982

Cerberus was a Hungarian punkband between 1981-1982. But they weren’t a real punks. Why i wrote about them? Because Cerberus was a „special” band. The band formed in end of 1981, when the Hungarian footballer team manager ’s two sons founded this band. Therefore they were in a special position: punk was a forbidden in communist Hungary, but Cerberus was a only punkband who appeared in IFJÚSÁGI MAGAZIN (Youth Magazine), they got a one interview in 1982 where they could speak about their aims and other things…
However Cerberus never was a „official” punkband, it couldn’t be true.
What was they music? Cerbeus’s music was a not too exciting punk. Simple chords with typical silly lyrics e.g. „AKTAKUKAC” and „NE MENJ FEL A GELLÉRTHEGYRE” (In English: Paper worm ; Don’t go up to Gellérthegy).
I think they never made demo or rehearsaltapes, but i know, they have some rare concert recordings from 1982. I search these recordings for a long time ago…

So, here’s , i got the Cerberus Youth Magazine interview from 1982. If you click the link, you can download this article in scanned version!

Amfetamin Lepra (in English: Amphetamine leprosy) was a Hungarian punkband ca. 1984. This band is totally unknown for me, i don't know anything about them. Sorry.
Here's their only demo from 1984. Quality is very bad, you can hear the music tones, but unfortunately, you can't understand the lyrics. What kind of music is this? Fast and aggressive punk music with angry singer. The song titles are very provocatives, for example "Magyarország rendőrállam" (meaning: Hungary is a police-state) and "Kommunista rabszolga" (in English: Communist slave). I think, these song titles represent the mid 80s communist Hungary life feelings.

Mosoi-demo 1984

Here's the demo of Mosoi . After the scandalous club Mozaik performance the Mosoi members were pulled over, but in 1984 they made a short demo without their rascist songs and without provocative political message.
Is this a good demo? I think, so-so. Quality is excellent, but sometimes the music is boring for me.

Shortly the Mosoi disbanded. Maybe still in 1984. Fortunately i got a cool picture about the band singer, József "Ramon" Erdős.

If you downloaded the previous upload, you had to listen two recordings from this band.This band founded in 1984 but i don't know too much about this demo. Maybe made in 1984...
Boy and the Boy was the music project of Ferenc Gallai (BOY). He was the one of the cult figure of Szeged underground life in the 80s.
Great demo, it is not punk, it is a bit TRIO influenced new wave. This demo have a very eclectic style, there are cool new wave songs, but you can listen some slowly acustic songs too!

Külvárosi Körzet-demo 1988 (?)

Külvárosi Körzet(Suburban district) was a punkband from Budapest conurbation.The band debuted in TOTAL 88 punkfestival in 1988.
Here's their only demotape without titles. Not too good stuff, i don't like too much this "late Aurora-influence" punk.

First of all, here's another ETA live tape from 1982. You can find lot of ETA stuff on my blog, but this recording is the best! Raw, aggressive and very good quality! This concert there are 13 cool ETA song. I think, this concert recording made in club "Közgáz", but i don't know exactly. The band members play a real good on this bootleg.

Bikini 04.09. 1982.-live in Miskolc

Bikini is one of my favorite Hungarian punk/new wave stuff. But i know, nowadays Bikini is a silly pop-rock band. But notice it: these bands are not one and the same. Bikini was a true band until 1984, but the singer, Fero Nagy get out from the band. From 1985, Bikini just a simple commercial fool thing. But it's already a other story...

Here's the one of earlier Bikini bootleg. This is the first "official" Bikini gig. Cool recording, and very rare. The repertoire was already form, they already played their famous songs: "Viva Carramba!", "Dolina", "Hegyek között", and ...ecc.

I think, the bootlegger would be a conservative, because the song "Bioritmus" is not full.

Bikini-live 08.12.1983. Csongrád

In 1983, Bikini released first album, Hova lett. This album is one of my favorite Hungarian punk stuff! Unclass style-many sided. Here's one of Bikini concert from 1983. This bootleg made in countryside, but absolutely good quality. Early Bikini was assimilite to Beatrice, they played (next to own songs) they played some song from Ramones (Beat on the Brat in Hungarian!!,Blitzkrieg Bop) , from West-German new wave band Trio (Da Da Da) and they played Sex Pistols too. And they often played communist "propagandist" songs, e.g. "Hegyek között". It was their joke!

Auróra Cirkáló-demotape 1984

Auróra Cirkáló (meaning: Aurora Cruising) formed in 1982, in Győr. Initial period, the band had a female member.She was the singer between 1983-1984. Frankly, i very hate this band, but i think, this early demo (with female vocals) is cool! Aggressive vocals, fast punk...good! You can listen some great song, e.g. Fojtogatók-Stranglers, and Nyugalom-Calmness.

So, summarize, this early Aurora was good and interesting, but nowadays, Aurora is a shit "punk" band without female singer.... Sorry.

Art Deco-demo 1985

Art Deco was a Hungarian industrial band from early 80s. They played Einstürzende Neubauten influenced music. Here's their rare demotape from 1985. Art Deco and another industrial bands (Petting, Strand) used industrial stuffs, iron plates, drilling machines and other things. Industrial music was absolutely layer-music style in Hungary. Good quality demo, enjoy!

Backing Group-live in Kecskemét 06.10.1981

When the Beatrice broke up in 1981, the singer, Fero Nagy started a new band, it was the Backing Group. In last period, Beatrice already played punk/new wave influenced musics, therefore Backing Group played similar music. This band was a short lived band (just few month) and they had to played some Beatrice songs too, because the public was not tolarated their interesting punk/new wave style. Backing Group broke up end of 1981 and Fero started the Bikini in 1982. But it's another story...

Z.E.F.-rehearsal and live 1984

Z.E.F. ( meaning in English: Sultry before thunderstorm) was a Hungarian oi! band between 1984-1987. The singer (in the picture with guitar) was a drummer in Modells and Mosoi between 1981-1983. Although the band played oi! and skinhead music, they weren't nazis, they and i don't understand why they were skinheads? Because their lyrics weren't racist and weren't extremists. Their lyrics is absolutely okay. So, this rehearsal there are 8 demo tracks and 2 live tracks. Unfortunately is not so good quality, very poor.

Kretens-concert in Ikarusz, 26. 05. 1982

Here's the unknown Kretens tape from early 80s, maybe from 1982. At this time, Kretens played raw, uncompromise punk-rock music. The band still played California Über Alles from Dead Kennedys. I don't know too much about this tape, i think, it's a great quality concert tape. Few days ago i thought it's a demotape, but i mistaken. Very interesting stuff!! Enjoy!

Boldog Idők (meaning: Happy Times ) was a one of the first ska-punk band in Hungary in mid '80s. I don't know too much about this band, just i think, they lived in Szeged. This tape is very rare, i think, it was a kind of demo-concert because the recordings are very good quality!

QQRIQ - one of the first punkband in Hungarian countryside. Formed in 1982 and broke up maybe in early 1983, i don't know exactly. One of cool guy sent me this rare recording before Christmas.

I think, it's not too good tape,with very unusual tones and with bad quality but maybe if you interested in early Hungarian punk music, i think, you will like it! This tape there are 2 concert: first QQRIQ gig (when the Bikini played after QQRIQ) and the second concert is unknown for me.

Pink Panthers-Live 1987

Pink Panthers was a punk band from Hungarian countryside. Formed in 1985, but then the bandname was K.U.K. (Kaiser Und König) but later, they changed the bandname. Pink Panthers played totally scandal band with very aggressive, angry and vulgar lyrics. This concert tape is their only band recording, recorded in 1987 but released in 2003.

I think the band played Mosoi and anti-communist and anti-gypsy songs in their concerts.

F.O. System (meaning: Fuck Off System) was a legendary Hungarian new wave/dark wave band between 1986-1991. F.O. System would be a cult band, they played with New Model Army and with Christian Death in West Germany and in West-Berlin.

Beatrice-Last concert in 30.07.1981

Beatrice was a legendary Hungarian rock-punk band, formed in 1974, but in the initial period, they played disco music, but it was a another band. Disco Beatrice broke up in 1976 and the band changed music-style. They started rock and later (maybe in 1978-1979), they started punk influenced music. They often played Ramones songs during the concerts but in Hungarian! At this time, already they were a banned band in Hungary because of their provocative lyrics.

In 1980-1981 the band already played punk/new wave influenced songs, but they never would be a really punk/new wave band, but the Beatrice was a absolutely important band in Hungarian punk history. I think, they were a pre-punk band. Because of the banned, the Beatrice broke up in late 1981. The singer, Feró Nagy later played a lot of Hungarian punk/underground band, e.g. Backing Group, Csiga Biga, Bikini. In the late 80s, the Beatrice was reformed and after the peaceful revolution, the band released lot of new albums. The band play nowadays too, but is not a same band...

Punk concert in club Mozaik 18.02.1983

In february 1983 six punk bands played in club Mozaik. These bands are: Kretens, Mosoi,BTK, CPg, Elhárítás, T34. It was a scandalous gig, because later Mosoi and CPg went to prison because of their lyrics.

Some information about the bands:

Kretens: I already wrote about Kretens. Formed in 1981 and in initial period (until 1983) they played non-commercial punk music, they were angry and anti-social. But after the gig, members of Kretens got a censure.They changed, and their music would be boring....

Mosoi: Maybe formed in late 1982 or in early 1983. Mosoi was a first skinhead band in Hungary, and they had one gig and the bandmembers went to prison. Mosoi lyrics was very very hard, angry and anti-social at this time. Some lyrics was racist. Not so friendly music, but very interesting. They sang about immigrants, gipsys, knob policemans and spoke about Ceausescu's Romania. I hope nobody is angry me because of this upload.

T-34 : One of the very interesting Hungarian punkband, formed in 1981 and broke up in 1983.

I don't know a lot about T34, just a little: the singer, called him "Horthy"

(Miklós Horthy was a governing in Hungary between 1919-1944)

and he was very nervous and aggressive. "Horthy" deserted to West

after 1983, and he would be a Swiss neonazi...

We can call him to the Hungarian pre-skinhead.

In initial period, they played Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd songs (look at their name: Sex Pistols+PIL=SEX-E- PIL). Since 1984, the band often played in Club Ráday and other cult underground places.

In 1989, they released their first LP, the name of the LP: Egyesült Álmok (in english: United Dreams) and and later they released lot of cassettes and albums. I think, the band play nowadays too!

I uploaded one of their concert in Club Ráday. Good quality and good tones!

BTK was a one of the first Hungarian electro-punk band, formed in 1982 or 1983. They played D.A.F. (Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft -famous electro/NDW band from Düsseldorf in the early 80s) influenced music(they often played D.A.F.'s famous song Der Mussolini.

BTK played unusual music in this time, because electro music was not too liked music style in Hungary.

Rolls Frakció-12. 11. 1981

It's a very interesting recording from band Rolls Frakció (Rolls Fraction). Rolls founded in 1979, but in initial period, they played boring hard-rock music. Released a half-7" (Már megtanultam rég-I already learnt it formerly) and the band changed music style. PUNK and NEW WAVE came in Hungary between 1980-1981 therefore Rolls changed. It was a succesful change because hard rock was dead in

Hungary in early 80s. After this, the band played Police and Sex Pistols influence new wave music with very critical lyrics. Rolls would be a famous new wave band in Hungary between 1981-1983.

So this concert recording is "mixture". Rolls already play their famous punk/new wave songs but still they play their boring hard-rock songs too!! But some month ago, they left these hard-rock songs. Fortunately....

Neurotic festival was a punk/new wave concert in Ikarusz club in Budapest, 1982. Some Hungarian punk/new wave band played in this festival who were famous at that time. There are: Neurotic, Kontroll Csoport, ETA, Európa Kiadó, Citrom, and Balaton.

Now i uploaded Balaton concert. I don't like this band till now but this concert recording is awesome! They played sadly music with sadly and intellectual lyrics. Great concert recording with good quality! Enjoy!

Here's rare Kontroll Csoport (Control Group) demo, meaning: "What your opinion about singer?" When the cult earlier Hungarian punk/new wave band, URH broke up in 1981, the URH singer, Péter Müller joined in Kontroll Csoport. So, it was a not really demotape, it was a soundtrack of Péter Müller college movie. Nevertheless, this tape there are very good quality and there are cool songs!

Kretens-Live in the Pecsa 1985

Kretens (meaning: Cretins) is a famous, but not too individual Hungarian punkband, formed in 1981 and they play nowadays too. I think, you will like this rare Kretens recordings but i don't like them.

They made a lot of demo during the 80s, and they played in West-Berlin and West-Germany. After change of regime, they played with UK.Subs and Henry Rollins.

This bootleg made in 1985 when the Kretens played in PECSA before 1500-2000 people.

Not too good bootleg, very poor quality but I think, you will like this rare Kretens recordings but i don't like them.

During the communist regime, the Eastern-European underground was a very fashionable, interesting and speciality in West. Some famous music magazine (NME, SPEX) informed about "punk behind the iron curtain". The New Musical Express journalist, Chris Bohn went to Hungary in 1981 and made some interview with URH, VHK, Beatrice, Spions.

Bohn said about URH: "URH music is the best I heard anywhere during my stay in Central Europe. "

Human Telex-rehearsal

Human Telex was a unknown new wave/synth band in the middle 80s. This demo there are Tejbezrí and Human Telex songs because because these bands are one and the same.
After the broke up of Tejbezrí, the bandmembers started a new band. They first bandname was ZRÍ but it was too punky name to lot of people.
Human Telex was typical synth band with sadly lyrics and with here and there forced lyrics.

Európa Kiadó-Last Concert 30.12.1983.

Európa Kiadó (in English:European Edition) was a very popular underground/new wave band in Hungary in the 80s. When the cult band, URH broke up in 1981, the former URH guitarist, Jenő Menyhárt founded Európa Kiadó in 1981. But the first band period was not a too successful therefore the Európa Kiadó broke up in late 1983. I uploaded there farewell party in Ikarusz club.
But after 2 years, the band was remodelled and they released two album in late 80s (Popzene in 1987 and Szavazz rám in 1989). The band really broke up in 1997. But they gave a concert in 2004 (when Hungary accessionen to the EU) and in 2006.

ZIL and RAUS rare recordings from early 80s

ZIL was a little-known punkband in Hungary maybe from 1982 or 1983. Some people said, ZIL was a one of the first skinhead band in Hungary but i think, they are mistaken. The first Hungarian skinhead band was a Mos-Oi .To err is human....
ZIL was not a skinhead band, it was a punkband with very angry and here and there rascist lyrics.
But i think, they were not a nazi band.
They released a short demo there are 2 songs, and the band was transformed into RAUS.

VHK-live 24.09. 1985

Formerly i already wrote about VHK (Galopping Coroners) therefore i don't want to write a lot.
But this concert is very unusual because the band played on György Galántai statues. He is a experimental artist, he founded "ARTPOOL" in 1979 (http://www.artpool.hu/).
So, but the VHK didn't used instruments, they played on iron statues. Unusual music, inarticulate sounds.... Great!

Világ lázadói harcra fel (in English:Rebels of the World ready to fight!) was a sampler from 1984, there are 5 Hungarian punkbands: CPg, Kretens (Cretins), ETA, QSS, Fegyelem (Discipline). The 7" released in France not in Hungary. Not too good sampler, there are five songs, i don't like too much this LP but i think, it's a important mark of the communist ages.

So, some information about E.T.A. : I think, E.T.A. was a first real pro punkband in Hungary, formed in 1981, when the former Neurotic singer, Péter Czeller came out from Neurotic.
First of all they played lot of adaptation from Sham 69, Stooges, Damned, UK.Subs and Agent Orange. In 1982- 1983 they are a strongest punkband in Budapest. They released this demo and they broke up because of "punk lawsuits". E.T.A. very political and provocative.

Kisangyal (in English: Littleangle) was a simple punkband in Hungary, formed in 1986 and broke up end of 1987. I think, the band is not so individual but the bandleader Ádám Pozsonyi later wrote a punkbook in the end of 90s and he went to journalist to Magyar Nemzet and Demokrata newspapers.
I don't like this demo too much and i don't read Pozsonyi's newspapers, because too right-wing deviation....
But i don't want to influence anybody therefore download and enjoy!
