This recording made in 1983 at Gödöllő (city near to Budapest). Very great recording with absolutely good quality! Unfortunately, i couldn't find good picture about the band...

VHK-live 24.09. 1985

Formerly i already wrote about VHK (Galopping Coroners) therefore i don't want to write a lot.
But this concert is very unusual because the band played on György Galántai statues. He is a experimental artist, he founded "ARTPOOL" in 1979 (http://www.artpool.hu/).
So, but the VHK didn't used instruments, they played on iron statues. Unusual music, inarticulate sounds.... Great!

Kontroll Csoport-demo 1983

Kontroll Csoport(Control Group) recorded this demo in 1983 in Ikarusz club. It's a real curious story, because MHV (name of the Hungarian Record Company) sponsored their demo recorded, and the Record Company planed Control Group LP, but it was failed. Namely, the band played in Spions memorial concert in april, 1983, and it was scandalous gig. So, luckily the official Control Group LP was failed but this demo came to lot of people.
In the early 90s, the descendant of Record Company wanted to released officially this demo. But it was failed again. Finally this demo released by Bahia in 1992.

Bikini- XX. századi híradó LP 1984

Here's 2nd LP from Bikini from 1984(the name of the LP in English: 20th century news). It's was a very unusual LP at that time, this LP there are undetermine style, there are a bit punk, a bit rock, and a bit new wave and a bit experimenting.
But this LP didn't make a big musical and mental excitement because the mainstream Hungarian rock musicians and the Record Company are not tolerated these new and innovating endeavours....

Spions-Donauer Video Familie 1978

Cyinicism, apathy and cold intellectual cruelty... Here's the Spions demo from 1978. It's a very rare recording, but lot of enthusiastic Spions-fan uploaded on BCDC.
Luckily, this tape is very great quality, there are 8 cool song (e.g. Dream of Anna Frank). But this tape is not so punk, rather alternative rock but very interesting!
Spions had an effect on lot of Hungarian punk/new wave bands, e.g. Control Group, URH, Európa Kiadó...

Spions-The Party EP 1980

When the Spions bandmembers deserted to West, they released Russian Way Of Life/Total Czecho-slovakia 7" in 1979 and later, they released only Spions EP in 1980. This EP made in Paris, France, there are 4 songs. After this, Spions broke up.

A.E. Bizottság-Jégkrémbalett LP 1984

Here's the second and the last album from A.E. Bizottság( Albert Einstein Committee). The name of the album Ice cream ballet. This LP is a soundtrack for same name movie. This movie is artist, surreal filmclip about the A.E. Bizottság songs. Still i haven't watched this movie, because very very rare....

A.E. Bizottság-Kalandra Fel! LP 1983

At that time, everybody shocked at A.E. Bizottság.You may not have been neutral to it. They schocked, horrified or amused. You must reacted to A.E. Bizottság.
A.E. Bizottság (meaning:Comittee or Alber Einstein Comittee) was a underground band in Hungary between 1980-1986. I don't exagerate, but A.E.Bizottság is a essential element of the Hungarian new wave.
In 1980, they played in Black Sheep Festival (it was a rock festival with 3 popular rockband:P.Mobil, HBB, Beatrice), but the redneck rockers are not tolerated their "catastrophemusic". Yes, their music is not really rock music, but the intellectuals and punks are like it.
They released 2 LP in 1983 and 1984. I upload their 1. LP, Kalandra fel(Adventure up!) from 1983.

Kontroll Csoport- 1981

Kontroll Csoport(meaning:Control Group) founded in 1980 and broke up in 1983. Kontroll Csoport was a definitely, creative new wave/underground band with female singer.
The band wasn't a typical new wave, they were warlike, intellectual, provocative,noisy and the intellectual youths are like them.

Control Group in action
